Had no use for them in high school, into tri5s, but would give my left nut for one now. Gorgeous cars...shoulda bought one back then when I could afford one. This car is what a 58 should look like...quite simply....stunning! DSC_0088.jpg

They existed alright, but just like the '57 210 hardtop, they are rare as hen's teeth. IMHO, the '57 210 hardtop was way better looking than the Bel Air with those gaudy panels on the fins.

My modest contribution, our project just got new floorboards, seats redone and carpeting on the way, need to rewire before the interior goes back in, got the Rebel kit already.

  13. Bel Airs without the 1/4 panel cheese slicer look best to me.

58 Chevy Biscayne owned by Joe Keller, painted by Bob Taylor later of Taylor's House of Color) both from Louisville, Ky. The picture on the right is from the Rodder's Journal #55.

A low mile "barn car" that someone got and took to the Stray Kat 500 last weekend. SBC, PS, PB, AC, PW's, level air, was what I could spot right off. Kool car!!

It would be fun to see this run.....don't usually see a 58 with the front wheels in the air!

  25. It certainly has some big meats in the rear.
