The Mariani Deuce Coupes: Dennis' 3wd & Mark's 5wd​

 

Every year (since '91) @ the West Coast Nats, I pick a car in memory of my father ... the "Bruce Olson Best Bitchin' Memorial Award".

I typically choose a traditional-styled Hot Rod ... the majority of which have been '32 Fords ... though I have picked others ... a '33, a '34, and a few '29s (e.g., Mark Morton's "RODZY" in 1994).

Last year I choose @3wLarry's old Deuce 3wd Coupe (currently owned by David Kelley).

This year there were plenty of Bitchin' Traditional-styled Hot Rods to choose from ... but I eventually narrowed it down to Mark Mariani's BRIZIO built, ARDUN equipped, chopped 5-window Coupe:

Rich Guasco's latest incarnation of Pure Hell was also in attendance:
