There is a classic car junk yard pretty close to my house that i have been wanting to go to for long long time. I could never catch the guy there then finally someone put out a hours sign.He is only open on fri and sat from 9am till 2pm.He is a little pricey on some of his stuff but some prices are right not great deals but right prices. I went there hoping to find a deal on a hemi. I didnt find a hemi but he has some spitfire polys in some chrylsers. I didnt get the engine figured i would hold out to get what i really want. I took plenty of pics though so sit back crack open a beer and enjoy. If anyone is interested in the junk yard location PM me and I'll give you directions
Great pix, man! Envious you have SUCH a well-looked-after yard near you. Hey, is that '56 a Windsor, Newport or what? I take it that's the one with the poly in it. Good show, buddy!
I've never been able to pry anything away from him. I tried to buy a 2d Nash wagon, when I would try to pin him down on a price he'd change the subject and start talkin about something else.
yes he was a little hard to deal with but if you stay at it you can get stuff from him. You should probaly try again real soon . He kept telling me he trying to sell a lot of stuff cause he getting old and its hard for him to keep doing it.
So now that poor guy is going to be buried to his eyeballs in bargain-hunting rodders, or not. Show up, ask, buy or bargain, but don't lowball him or everyone following you will be tagged.
