Drove the coupe down to the monthly cruise in at Cleveland Tn. today, here are a few shots of some cars that caught my attention. 20180428_124748.jpg 20180428_124152.jpg 20180428_124759.jpg 20180428_124834.jpg 20180428_131822.jpg 20180428_131438.jpg 20180428_133018.jpg 20180428_133916.jpg 20180428_140057.jpg 20180428_140140.jpg 20180428_131359.jpg 20180428_140844.jpg

Nice looking City, too... running the show there to get people back downtown, back to Mom and Pop stores like before. America is getting back on track.

Very nice cars and thank you very much for sharing. Since I grew up in a small town, there's nothing like cruise ins in downtown areas like this for the cars and trucks look even better parked in front of the stores and other businesses.

The 37 coupe (2nd pic) looks a little odd - was that made from a humpback sedan or something?
    Looks like a nice show.

  12. You don't see many but that is a stock body 37 Coupe with rear jump seat. A friend had one in High School.

Known as a Club Coupe, has a back seat and uses 2 door sedan length doors instead of the business coupe which used 4 door sedan length front doors.

Dang, I gotta pay more attention, I had not noticed that it was a Shay or it would not have made the cut! I don't know about the color.

I was there Saturday. I set up in the little swap meet for a while then met the family for lunch and came back and walked around the show area for a while. I have a bunch of pics posted on the thread that is linked in my signature.

Ford introduced the '37 Club Coupe , carried thru '38, model 720 SIX PASSENGER CLUB COUPE...

  24. you could be right. it has some "odd" parts tho. wide fender well, weird rear panel, rack and pinion [shays don't have] and an odd dash panel. looks like he tried to make a model A look like a repro.....

I am unsure but I believe that he told me that the car was originally built in the 70s but I could be wrong.
He has bought a ton of "Little Page" car magazines from me over the years. Every now and then we do some trading on old parts as he always has some cool stuff in his "Stash".

Very cool. I love that it's on the street rather than a big old parking lot.

If I am not mistaken there is supposed to be a big cruise Saturday in Ringgold Georgia

  28. That show looks a little Ford heavy.
They must have had a great Ford dealership in the area
Either that or you like to take pics of Fords.
If that's the case, I don't blame you.
They are my favorite subject to.
