This will be my new road car since it will need way less body work then my Custom 500,someone ordered it with a 3 speed o/d trans and has a fresh but never fired 390. I am going to like that rear window that will roll down and was suprised that it only has a 3.25 gear with that o/d.

Had a friend whose father had a 63 or 64 Ford station wagon that had a 390 with a 4 speed and bucket seats. Her father said he ordered it that way. I've never seen another like it so I guess you could order some odd things back then.

The only thing I do not like is it has factory a/c,I had that system on my Country Squire and was a pain to keep working since everything is vacumn operated. It has not been messed with and I do still have used and NOS parts for that system and now know how they work so I just want it to work for heat for now.

Many years ago a girlfriend had one of those and I always liked driving it, of course having her next to me had a lot to do with it lol.. I'm a sucker for those blond German women..
