Very cool find!! From the original owner even!!! It amazes me what is still "out there"...
What a clean machine that car is. What's under the hood, a 216?
Wow, just wow. They ARE still out there, guys.

Thanks guys. Besides some original dealer offered extras, this one is staying stock.
I'll try and get a couple pics up this week. The interior and engine/compartment are as nice as the exterior.
Here ya go!
Oooo, that's tidy!
Amazing! Great find especially since that is what you wanted. Have to keep some original and with the story, this would be a good one. Do you know if the car and wheels were painted that way originally? Add some whitewalls and be done.
Yes it is the original paint scheme, the car was repainted in the mid 80's by Quality Motors in Independence Ks.
Damn, that is a beauty!
wow... awesome find
NO please ,no whitewalls. The car doesn't have them and does not need them.
Haven't decided yet. What ever I decide will be period correct. More then likely black walls.
After Brakes and some tweeking the 39 is on the road and running great.
NOS Texaco oil for the 39 before it's first day out on the road.
First day on the Road.
I have friend with last name Skelly, any docs/maps/etc. you want to part with?
Well, How'd she handle?
Really nice, we're putting the new tires on later this week. The old Bias Firestones that are on it now, let ya know they are there from the sitting in one spot for the last few years.
did she fire up this morning at 18 degrees!!!??
Another 39 on the HAMB Yeah !
How do you pick which one to drive today? Answer, drive em both. Looking good Chris.
A little choke, a couple pumps and she went right off. Thanks for all your help Rod. Cool shop, great work.
Well to be honest the 39 is for when I'm in that "Pa Kettle" mood. I feel very lucky to have found such a piece of history. Oh hey, by the way Jeff. I'm stealing your pic you posted!!!!
One of my Air Corp tag riders was screaming from the shelf to be the first addition to the 39.
Very cool Chris!
Thanks for posting the interior pics. I have a '39 sedan as well and need the rear seat, the one that came with it isn't the right one at all.
If ya need anymore, let me know.
Stealing that horrible pic? I'll do you a better one, as the first was a bit dark.
Tag looks great.
