Apparently Nicson wasn't the only one to make a 2x2 intake for the small block Chevy. Edmunds was in that game as well. Anyone have a picture of an Edmunds 2x2 intake?

The distributor gear is reverse cut (made by Isky) so that it turns in the normal SBC rotation.

THESE are exactly what I am looking for.... How rare? I wonder if they have been reproduced?

Offy still offers a good share of what they made years ago. Unless they stopped making them withing the past 3 or 4 years they are still available new!

This is a Magna Charger System from the 70s. It is on our 56 Nomad. The blowers are 110 inch blowers (220 cu in per revolution) with Weber 40 UDA Carbs on each side. The blowers are mounted to anEdelbrock Streetmaster 4 barrel intake. I'm not sure how many were built, but I have only seen two, but a lot of people see mine and tell me they know about them.

Here's a video with owner saying the blower is off a freight train and he ran it.

If you don't mind, just curious what you paid?

I have a set of the finned "Corvette" valve covers that I'm considering using, but it seems like they are used too often.

Thought these were pretty cool. A buddy of mine donated them to hang up with the rest of my garage art. I've seen hundreds of MT valve covers, but none with the Garlits Racing Engines inscribed.

Some factory GM 9 fin valve covers. Only used for a short while on Fuel Injected and dual quad Corvettes in 1957.

Only have a couple pieces. Kinda pathetic compared to you guys. Wow.

    Anyway, here goes:

I have a Du Coil dual point distributor which uses dual coils, with dual coil-wire sockets in the cap:

I also have an old HOWARD aluminum flywheel, which I THINK is for an SBC. Has anyone ever heard of these?

I note that the name "HOWARD" is spelled out one letter at a time on the engine side of the flywheel, with one letter on each radial reinforcement. You'll laugh at me for this, but for a time, I thought it was a "WARD HO" flywheel. Sheesh!

Any info on these two old hot rod items will be much appreciated, and thoroughly enjoyed! Thanks!

Damn guys, sitting over here in aus wiping the drool off my chin, cant contribute to this thread as far as chev stuff goes, however if any one has a 471 to SBC blower manifold in their wonderful collections id be interested in releiving them of their burden:eek:.

Closest I can come to rare in my collection of bits is a hard to get Irving Aluminium head with Mcgee 'dribble dick' fuel injection set up for our trusty holden sixes over here but i don't think its in the same league:D
