Does anyone have any pics of Jim Jacobs yellow three window. I've lost (temporarily) my coupes are for chickens magazine and I've only managed to dig up a couple of pics. It's one of my all time favorite hotrods and just wanted to study it a little. Post them if you've got them. Here is one that I robbed here off of the HAMB. Thanks, Tim

I really like it with the wires on it! So far I've been through six stacks of books and still haven't found my old R&C...I put it away for safe keeping!

I agree, It started to lose some of it's "Hot Rod" appeal when Jake redid it. I still can't believe he sold that, and the Niekamp roadster.

I have personal pics of the Coupe and the Kid driven by Peter & Jake, Ray Lark in his roadster, Thom Taylor, P-Wood in The Americruiser delivery, and my Gal Pal Lisa & I in our 34 3W when we did the 1st Americruise. Can't post a pic worth a sh*t, so email me if you like copies. These have never been published anywhere.

Chrisman, thats a great shot. I had forgotten about the street rodder article. Thanks! Hey, your page at http://peelout.typepad.com/ is very cool too.

    Thanks, Tim.

Jake's coupe is one of my favourites too, and has been for a very long time. The chop feature in an old R&C quarterly is one of the reasons I got into traditional rods in the first place.

Jakes 34 was at the Detroit Autorame along with The California Kid, they were in the So-Cal display. They had the builders name as "Jake Ewing" how could they screw that up!
