Ok asked for the link, could t get it to open so I will go straight to the point! Starting on a stalled project. Here it is a glass 32 rpu body channeled over an A frame . Kinda digging the modified look just because it's different but kinda bulky to pull it off so I'm thinking it needs a bobbed bed and maybe a wheel base stretch of an inch or so. So if sombody could photoshop a bed and stretch the wheelbase a slight bit that would rock . Feel free to photoshop it in other directions too. Not set on what I'm gonna do yet funds are tight on this one. So here ya go! ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1400610520.820202.jpg ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1400610554.471803.jpg

Here it is with a POS idea of a bed. Am I wrong? Does it need to be stretched a touch to run a bed!

  3. I'm not a Photoshop guy but I can envision your pickup with a cool T type turtle deck rear section. HRP

Could you move the rear spring in front of the axle to get a little more wheelbase?

I suppose I could but I like the way the front is now, plus the way the kick up in the rear is attached at the moment it wouldn't be that big of a job to move it back. I'm still recovering from a botched spinal surgery that happened in the beginning of April that left me with little to no movement in my left foot and little feeling in my right, so no work, equals no money so budget is tight on this one. Plus forest Gump braces and a walker makes it cumbersome in the garage hahaha Being self employed has it's privileges at times lol but no disability sucks too! Any way back to the regularly scheduled program

  10. Here's one with a slightly longer wheel base and keeping the patina......

  11. A turtle deck like the one on the car Pete Chapouris built for his dad, your pickup already has that low sleek look.

BTW,I hope your physical situation improves and you are able to get back to work soon. HRP

Two more great examples above! Freaking awesome! So I've seen one 32 modified styled car, I know it doesn't make much traditional style since being 32 style car but could it be pulled off with success with what you see here? I have some wires with 4, 6.00's, to keep with the all same size modified style and a set of 7.50 and 4.50 'Stones on steelies to help with a hot rod stance. Opinions good or bad. I know it's glass so other than that. ImageUploadedByH.A.M.B.1400668844.289762.jpg
    6.00's

Don't have the 4.50's on the front yet but 7.50's on the rear

HRP THANKS FOR THE KIND WORDS! I'm improving a little every week. The whole learning to walk again at 44 was interesting. It's amazing how quick the human body looses strength! I'd love to see a back shot of Pete's green one!

That is killer, thanks so much! Gives me some good inspiration to keep pushing myself to get back out there! Thanks so much!

  16. I knew in the back of my mind the turtle deck would look good but the outstanding Photoshop work by Rubin Duran actually makes it look better than I had envisioned. HRP

I dig the deck, for sure. I had been looking for a pickup box for my '26 RPU body and I ended up with a turtle deck, really glad I did.

The photoshop'd deck looks like the back half of a 28-29 coupe, kinda. I bet that wouldn't be too incredibly hard to find.

Have you mocked up yours yet? I'd love to see a shot of the tail end of it!
