Excellent - bananas are always welcome. Here's a rare peek at the HAMBers getting ready to chow down in the kitchen at the end of a long day. Photo RMSC.

BTW, Packard had a good cash reserve, and for some time Studebaker had been falling short of the 130,000 units they needed to sell to stay in the black. To keep my opinion brief, I'll just say, Studebaker did NOT "buy out" Packard. But when the strange ball of twine unwound there, it was Packard that got the ol' knitting needle in the, uh, deal.

TWIN6.....Here's a 1929 640? Packard, from our favorite year style wise, from India of all places with optional and rare chrome plated disc wheels.....

Fashionable town for those from NYC to spend the warm weather months in..... a very distintive Cadillac coupe is parked at the curb.

Here's something you don't see every day down at the Goodyear Tire Store.....A front wheel drive Ruxton up on the rack showing it's underside..... Only in LA circa 1930?? where the photo was taken......Note the Juice brakes and one baldy......

A Brush and a Buick, c. 1910. What was it they said about Brush? "Wooden body, wooden axle, wouldn't run?" Check that tree trunk front axle and the coil springs.

EG, T-6, T-H--I can't keep up with you guys, but I'll see if I can make a daily contribution. Maybe this would speed me up. Here's what I was told to be a 1909 Knox at Indy (before they ran the first 500).

  14. Very ironic, I'm reading the book "Horatio's Drive" right now. "Bud the Dog", an "American Legend"!

How about Popes-have we had any of them show up yet?
How about a 1906 Pope-Toledo with some adventurous passengers, a 1912-13 Pope-Hartford being used as a taxi (it has a 'For Hire' license plate on it), and a 1906 Pope-Hartford after a successful hunting trip.

I missed out on the snow/ice pics before (I'm a little slow). Here's the Overland Wind Wagon.

Nice '07 EX Stanley, with dual registration. FL plate below, and a Mass Automobile Register plate actually bent to conform to the hood over the boiler.

Just another T, set apart from all the others by the very cool tire cover and gypsy curtains.

T-Head interesting what you said about the BRUSH, man. Was that an ACTUAL expression used back in that time??? Meaning, the "wouldn't run" pun.

1910 Brush 2-passenger runabout. The photo is an heirloom of John & Mary Sidebotham, It was taken of one of their grand-mothers near her home of Clifton, AZ. She was born in 1867.
