OK, the title says part three of three, but I'm posting it first. The other two will be my Cruise from Des Moines to Columbus and my Des Moines photos. I just happened to have Columbus handy first.

Columbus was as big as ever, new gates were opened for easier entry, but pretty much everyone still crammed into the main gate. Three days of AutoCross with the Sponsor Shootout on Sunday (which was flat out AMAZING entertainment!). Street Rod and Street Machine of the Year winners were crowned. The Friday Night Drags were bigger than ever. I got to eat at one one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants on the planet. Relocating the Special Parking Areas and Winners Circle was a success. I thought the swap meet had a shit load of killer stuff, but of course I had no money.

I think I saw the Fonz, I bet he posts pics.

Whiners stay away. Those with suggestions fire away!

    Enjoy!!

Possibly my favorite car of the event. Yeah, it's not HAMB-friendly in character, but it technically fits. This thing was built to the nines for road racing!

Street Rod of the Year winner. Another amazing one-man shop masterpiece from Dave Lane.

Hey aren't these cars supposed to come stock with airbags and a monster notch? Just kidding, this is a really cool and clean example of a '54!!!Love the '55 headlights and I plan on a similar vibe for my own '54 one day...

I stared at this one for about 2 hours in Detroit this past February. It's like all my hopes and dreams wrapped up in single seat bliss!

Thanks for the photos ,it is the middle of winter down under and I am banged up with a fractured foot, this keeps me sane looking at all these great cars.

Thanks Kirk. Enjoyed your shots. Disappointed you didn't have a shot of the kid's Factory Five '33 Roadster from Hot Rod Camp, otherwise a great representation of the Goodguys Columbus Experience.
