Unfortunately Steve, I didn't get that this time. I think I did in a previous year and I will look, but I might also be mixing it up with another car I shot somewhere.

 

Dan, Many have tried to capture this car in photos. Your effort is one of the very best. The "eye- frying" Yellow paint has to be one of the most difficult to get right and you did a great job. I'm the farthest thing from a photographer but, outside in the sunlight, this car must be near impossible to get the full effect.

 

Don said it. "Electric'' yellow paint is what I was thinking. It really "pops" in the daylight.

It is definitely "electric" and, as I have said a bunch of times, one of the brightest colors I have ever seen. I have shot it a bunch of times starting at the Rodder's Journal Revival a few years back. It is a little tricky to get the color exactly right, but I've had practice.

I love this shot! The kid looks like he did something wrong! Like take his older brothers hot rod for a joy ride!

 

That was the cruise Friday morning. My own son had an important test, or I would have had him out of school for it, too. Of course, these youngsters must live n a district that was off that day.
