Event Coverage Photos from the Amazing 2017 Jalopyrama

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Dan Greenberg, Oct 19, 2017.

  1. Involvement on move-in & show day were limited this year, so I'm looking especially forward to your amazing coverage. Thanks for your vision and visions.

Thank you Christine from One Off Rod & Custom for posing both yourself and this beautiful roadster. I saw Christine driving this to the trailer and went running after her (luckily I can still do that on occasion) and she kindly backed it up out of the shade and into this fabulous late afternoon light.

I didn't quite get the pearlescence to show like I had hoped on this, but thanks to Steve Merkson (@chevy57dude ) for taking the time to pose it.

Dan, I was at the show, but your photographic talents make the cars look better than in person !

Thanks Dino 64. Did I ever meet you? If so, what was your real name and what car if any did you bring?
Thanks Steve. I am going to try and do a better version of that later. Thanks Wayne. Steve have a very photogenic 57, which always helps.

No, unfortunately I didn't meet you but I did embarrassed myself asking other photographers if they were you for the last two Jalopyramas. !

You're welcome akoulaw - thanks for checking out this thread. Dean - next time look for someone wearing a knee pad. I am probably the only one going around with that.

I don't think I have one, sorry Tim. At least not from this show, but I'll check.

This Ardun powered roadster was a late arrival so I never got a shot of it earlier when there were hardly any people. Here it is being photographed by another very skilled and artistic photographer who I have met and talked to at this and previous Jalopyramas, whose name, at the moment I need it most, evades me.
