I'll start with some from the hotel parking lot on Friday night. The National Ford Galaxy club was having a meet in conjunction with the Auto Fair so the place was full of them.

Then Saturday morning we get in to track and we see these!

Then things got back to normal.

This was a solid car you could've driven home.

    I kinda liked this.

But the interior was a little over the top.

Is it just me or do you think maybe they're compensating for something?

    ;)

Oh, and yeah, cool pics and thanks for sharing. Loved that little white roadster under the tent, the green shoebox with flames and ... wow, most of the others.

Yea, I really liked that too. It's shame it was under there though, made photography difficult.

That little roadster looks even better now that I get a better look at it in those additional shots. That grille is a nice change from what one usually sees on cars like that.

The "solid car you could have drove home" shoebox is mine, and you could drive it home. Good running driving old car and its been on the hamb classifieds for a couple weeks!

That little white roadster is awesome. It's refreshing to see a different approach being used while not resorting to the 'rat rod" theme. Really hard to come up with a unique combination of parts after so many years of hot rodding.
Anyone notice that the rat rods are starting to aquire a more finished look? It was bound to happen. You can only take "crap" so far and it's bound to reach a point that even the most jaded have to come to the conclusion "enough is enough".

My wife and I liked it a lot. Wish we could've bought it.

    Did it sell?

No, I'm sad to say it didn't. I don't know what some people are thinking when they look at a pile of parts throwed n the trunk of a "project" car for 2 or 3K when you can buyer a nice runner and drive it home for 5500 bucks. Oh well....

Well, I can only speak for myself. In our case it was the complete lack of $5500 bucks!;)

    great pictures 2002

yes the little white roadster is my ex, really like some of the stuff they did to it just not sure about the turtle deck.

i hope he's abusing it like i did, i built it planning on trying to brake it, but it just kinda kept going except for the original roller 327 rip.

if anyone knows the new owner i want to see it in a full drift, or at the dragstip, of in the dirt or..........

Hey, Justin we liked the turtle deck thats why we put it on there. I know it covers up the quick change but the car is still under 12ft. long. It also balances the track nose and allowed a place to put the gas tank out of the cowl. Also cut the windsheild down and rolled the interior into the body line the car is now just a tad over 40 inches tall. Wish we had one of those Bonneville sun rises to take a few photos of the liitle roadster.
