Larry, I don't mean to commandeer Tom's thread, but I have more pictures of this car that I will be posting later today. Don't expect the photo quality you see here though... That car was kinda tucked under the only shade in the lot on a really bright day so it was pretty tough to catch on film, eeerrrr digital. Sorry Tom, hope I didn't rock the boat with this one.

Larry, I think that's the only one I got.

Feel free Chip; I wanna see whacha got. I used post production work to bring the BF Deuce into the light. I actually perfected I new trick I have been experimenting with on that shot.

The midday light is just harsh anyway, compounded by a fairly tight parking arrangement. And nearly every car was aimed north to south, meaning if one had bad light, they all did!

I was passing thru Glendale and stopped by the show.

Not to complain but just hoping for change..... Great cars but the dealership venue kind of pulls the "specialness" out of the gathering.

Interestingly, we went from that show at Sanderson to another show which was held on the biggest patch of lushest green grass in all of Phoenix.

It was, however, located next to a big ugly non-flying saucer in the middle of a bigger parking lot. Also in Glendale.

Thank you for taking pic of the car and posting them up. There were far better cars than mine out there. It was great meeting you and seeing all the photos you took. The photos are amazing. The tail lights are 56 bug turned inside out so they make a re cease automatically when you cut the outer housing off.

I only have this one and it's not great quality. I wasn't going to post it because of the lens flare shooting into the sun, but because you ask....here it is! Nice car.

I kind of agree on one hand, but there is more to it. See Sanderson ford has been in the valley for something like 60 years or so, and that part of the lot is set asside espressly for car clubs and shows. I don't know if you noticed the fifties diner right on the lot, and with a simple bus ride you go to one of the best automotive museums out there. This also belongs to the dealership.
They really have stepped up to cater to our needs and support the Phoenix area car culture.

That said, Deuce Day in it's original form at Ron Olmstead's home was magic, just not sustainable in it's original form.

Hope you don't mind me adding a couple to your gallery, Tom. These are from the black Vicky with the dark Halibrands. 1" pleats are neat.

    Not at all, man.

One of my regrets when I try to cover a show is that all too often I get caught up in getting the best shot of the whole car, at the expense of missing a lot of details. Your interior shot, that's one of 'em. That's why I love to see other coverage, especially from a show I attended. After I get home after a show, I will see a car in the background of one of my own shots and think, "How did I miss that?".
