The Los Angeles Roadster show is coming up Father’s Day weekend. Since it brings out so many cars I wanted to ask if there anything people would like to see pictures of? Just make it reasonable, not “every Model A”. Maybe something like Model A’s with wide 5 wheels? Also are there any parts that people should keep their eyes out for? Again, not “Stromberg 97 Carburetors” but rather “Kinmont Brakes” or an Ansen head for a 4 cylinder Chevy II where the chances are good there might be one there. Charlie Stephens
you asked = something with a smoothe hard body and curves in the right place with a great pair of headlights and a nicely curved rearend - topless -not too much lipstick. if you take pics of rides For Sale be sure to take pic of phone # - any old Bonneville related stuff/race cars/pictures -
Overhead conversions for 4Bangers, any pre WWII race car related stuff. Thanks, and have a great time. Bob
I enjoyed the buildings, they were about 72 degrees, outside it felt like 100. Here are the swap meet cars that interested me the most, the '37 phaeton being my first choice. Charlie Stephens
This bus was first in line. He probably got there Wednesday. I was almost last in line and ended up with a swap spot next to him. View attachment 3248441
The owner of this roadster pulled in behind me. About 10 minutes later I asked him about the car and he just sold it, for $8800!!!! I should have asked him right when he pulled in. Nice score for someone.
There was soooooo much good stuff. Some cheap, some pricey but all of it RAD!. Got 3 roadster doors for my project for $35 bux. Got F1 pedals and an extra pedal arm for $20 bux. And bought my bud a pair of 32' tail lights with brackets for $10 bux. SCORE!
Just a couple of shots of two different '32 grill treatments at LARS that I thought looked very good. Someone here was making some of these up but I can't find the post, hope he sees these. Charlie Stephens
