The A pillar is so skinny, I'm not sure that Appletons would look right.

 

Jimmy Vaughn's Fleetline had real ones on when it was in primer. It was pictured that way in R&C when it first started back in the 80's...forget what issue. I liked them, but in the end, I think I like it better without 'em.
