Thanks for the post. I love swap meets but we don't have many of them in this area anymore.
I could taste the raspberries and smell the grease...
pics or it dint happen ....oh he did ? ... they are?... he ate what?...
if you only took pics of the good things the rest of the meet must have been all clown stuff for sale at a shriner event .. not a single fez/mini bike in your pictures?????
thanks that look like a good supply of stuff right price or not...
Great seeing you again & thanks for buying that anchor , some how I missed that bellytank......How much was the person asking for it?
I think it was $125
Another wonderful midwest adventure with Mr. PF.......thanks for the pics since I haven't been to anything yet here on the Jersey Shore.....sheesh!
I am happy you saw my thread CB------
you need to come and hang out with me someday...
Wow Looks like it was a good swapmeet I need to get there someday! I have so much stuff that might sell down there! like a 72 Elcamino parts car, 85 jag XJ6, 59 Ford 2 dr, 62 Buick Special. I'd like to move. Did anyone make it to the classic car auction in Omaha this weekend? I wanted to hit that as well, but just to much work at the shop!
Of all the events I miss from living in KC the Ararat Swap Meets are towards the top. Tornadoes, not so much, although we got a few of them around here last night, too.
We have a pretty big swap next weekend. I will try and do a thread.
paul sorry swapmeet cindy and I had to miss the kc swapmeet. but I had to get the front clip on the gasser on pimer yesterday. glade to here know damage in gypsum . loved all the pics of the cool stuff. and as usual you seem to find all the good food.
glad everyone's okay up there....thanks for sharing.....and you know my clown car was a Shriner car from Kansas....
Thanks for taking the time to post this Paul. Nice pics.
Great stuff Paul, that Dodge A-100 pickup is cool. Gary
Thanks for the pics and narrative Paul.
Dang.......I failed to realize the swap was this weekend.
We were in KC on Friday, but had some things to do.
I usually find something I want at that swap, even though
the last few haven't been as large as they used to be.
Was it held at the auto auction place again this year??
Thanks again,very enjoyable swapmeet.
Frank, I am very sad to have missed you and my favorite swap meet Cindy at this meet. Sorry you could not come. I also missed my pal gasserlouie who was not there nor did I see carkiller Cal....
I like your pictures, as usual. I'm thankful that you and yours made it through the tornados okay. Our 2 granddaughters, my wife, and I were huddled in the basement for awhile Saturday night. Fortunately the tornado missed us by 5 miles or so. I'm off work for at least a few days until Spirit calls us back.
Wow I heard your building got hit at work....bummer
Great swap meet thread! I enjoyed it also. I found quite a few things there that were on my list (and then some) last Saturday and managed to have enough room to haul the stuff home in one trip!
Say there POVERTY,I didn't make this meet,I was at the shop fooling with my Corsair Bellytank, powered by a Caddy 429,Anyway the weather was bad around here and I was spending my money on parts I needed. And as a quick reminder,I am still in the market for a bellytank type box that a porta power came in.Keep me in mind Damnit.lol.That is a good meet.
What did the cast iron steering wheel with the 25 go on ? I have one without the 25.
it belonged to Sodbuster or his Dad and was $100 I think. They might still have it. Send him a PM.
You saw more than I did. Course I was busy talk'n and pozin for pictures. Always good to visit with you Paul.
you too buddy
I like the way you travel pv! Food is always a big part of it. Pics are cool too
Thanks for sharing
You captured the highlights quite well. Loved the Hudson truck, but not the price. There also was a '61 Plymouth in the mix. Got any shots of that?
