Really? You guys are still here? Really? Please refer to post 99.
Sounds like the ending on Ferris Bueler"s day off
8 hours since the last bump.
How about a bias ply vs. radial tire debate? Haha
or when you used to ask mom for a cookie before dinner and she said no and burned you with the cigar she was smoking.
A piece of ass you don't want...
My all time pet peeve was when the Alice's Restaurant thread got closed.
A pet peeve of mine is seeing a sign that is falling apart. When exiting McDonald's.

Lucky your delivery didn't get McDamaged!!
Ok, I'll add another.
Adding an "s" to a lot of words, FOR WHAT. I was taught early in grade school that adding an "s" to the end of a word made the word plural, more than one. That didn't change all the way through collage.
Backwards, backward is good.
Forwards, forward is good.
Upwards, upward is just fine.
Inwards, inward works great.
And on and on...
What the hell...NONE of these words are plural or mean more than one..! I don't care what the British say..!
"Ah...but what is a burger but ground steak" 1960's A1 Sauce commercial.
Yup, like knowing someone that "...works at Fords"
Getting something from Kmarts or Walmarts. But the one I never got was how someone says "warsh" instead of wash. And since that bald-headed goof on TV started the "10 2" talk about ET at a race it seems every sponge brain picked it up as proper. "Hey man my car went 11 4 last night." 'Well 4-what? 40 or 49?" "What's the difference?" "A car length." "No way!" "You're right, wanna race?" "When I get back from Walmarts I'm gonna warsh my car and..."
And so it goes. But anyways...
Now I have that Bossa Nova song running through my head.
Still here, huh?
Okay then..All Chevy IIs are Novas (not). That one really, really bothers me..almost as much as Eldebrock
Mark Yac...GOOD for you, correct.
In 1968, There was NO...Nova...at all, what-so ever. ALL...of that body style was a Chevy II. Check the parts books, check the body for the word Nova. So there you...Nova people..! The early bodied cars were/are Chevy II Novas. I'll be NONe of you call an early Chevelle a "300"..! Yet MANY of them were..!
People need to understand the difference in the words, "then" and "than"..!
Completely different words, yet often, "thEn" is used where "thAn" should be used. Your 4th grade English teachers are turning over in their graves...
One more -
That hunk of iron on the front of most car crankshafts...aint a "balancer". The balancing was done at the machine shop. That hunk of iron is a damper. It dampens crank shaft harmonics. Yea, yea, I know, some dampers have weighted counter weights on them, its "main" job in life, even for those applications, is to dampen.
Damn this needs to be bumped once more
If the menu says coney dog, the waitress shouldn't have to ask if I want mustard and onion.
Coney dogs don't have beans or cheese either.
...........or those 15X10 polished ,big window Hildebrands!!!!!
Is that just a Michigan thing?
I thought everybody knew that.
Just a few years ago, I found out that there are Flint style and Detroit style. Well not really, Detroit style is the teal thing, Flint, not so much.
The worst pet peeve...
The left lane hugger, Normally goes right at the speed limit or more than often below it and refuses to move over to the right lane where you should be...
Signs all over the road ways "STAY RIGHT EXCEPT TO PASS" " SLOWER TRAFFIC STAY RIGHT"
2nd peeve the assholes that will not move over to the left for a Emergency vehicle on side of the road (Fire.DPS,Tow Trucks as such) or even the guy changing a flat tire.
It is also a LAW in this state.
people calling large logo 97's big 97's...i guess they got away with it in the past. then stromberg came out with the larger cfm version and called it a big 97. do a search for big 97 and all these large logo 150 cfm versions pop up. fuck me.
Some serious issues here. I had no idea.................
It’s like a hokey ass therapy board, huh?
Separate names with a comma.
