90 years ago today, Babs upped the World Land Speed Record to 171mph. She was back on the sands, but running not quite as rapidly...

 

Wow. Who'd have thought that car spent decades buried below that sand!

 

Cool. She's a beauty. Would love a video to hear her run. Thanks for the history lesson!

I've read about that car!...it's absolutely fantastic and the pedigree of the car is incredible...what a truly unique and inspiring vision to even see it running at all....after 40 years buried in the sand...wow! Thanks for sharing
