Peking to Paris in a 40 Ford

Thought some may like this, its a log of competitors in the Peking to Paris rally that should finish today. They are driving a '40 Ford the 7,625 miles. You need to read from the bottom of the page up.

Stunning pictures and a great drive!! Looks like alot of fun with sweat and tears thrown in.

Glad it's finally finished, been on 24hr call in case of problems with the 40.

 

Did anyone see the PBS documentary a couple years back about the guys that re-created the original 1907 Peking to Paris rally with restored Spyker, Italia, De-Dion, ect?
