[IMG]anyone ever see or use one like this? i am to understand it is from the 70s and used in marine and industrial applications. thank you

  2. I don't believe that was ever designed for use on an engine. Looks more like a furnace blower used in metal casting or on a forge.

Old thread, but they're still out there. At today's swap meet, a vendor had one, "Yeah, that's off a Shelby Mustang,"

And no those were never designed for automotive use. They were used as air movers in submarines, among other military and industrial uses.
