Pat Ganahl - short rant about TRJ

And who's to say this guy didn't "borrow" the word "RAT" from our father who art in Florida. Mr. Garlits has proudly displayed "Swamp Rat" on every one of his race cars since the 50's.

 

Garlits named his dragsters "Swamp Rat" after he overheard "California dragsters" putting him down, calling him a "Swamp Rat". He chose to embrace the insult, you know the rest of his fantastic story.

 

I'm a car guy.

Pat Ganahl is one of the best writers out there. You could learn something from him. Ignore the term if you don't like it.
