It's a piece of cake guys. Step up! It's FREE!!! FFS! This guy is a living legend, one of a handful of people left on the planet who have spoken at length to ALL of the legends of early hot rodding. And is sharing his personal photo collection, and telling stories about all of 'em. Like sitting down in his living room, and digging out old photo albums, as I've mentioned in other threads regarding this.
    Make this a sticky mods.

I hadn't even read the piece prior to posting. Get everyone you know on this. Every car guy has read
    Pat's stuff.

I found out about Pat's online endeavor fairly recently but it didn't take me long to subscribe.
Great reading, doing what I can to spread the word as well.

Didn’t subscribe, because I get too many notifications now, so I mostly ignore them and have to delete them every few months, which I hate.

Did bookmark his site as a favorite, though.

I guess that works but I subscribed anyway even though I'm like you and hate inbox-clogging emails. Consider that Pat does not do columns that often (he claims he's retired!! LOL ) so I've not received many notifications so far. Very manageable and it's well worth knowing when there's something new.

I subscribed awhile back when I found out about it. Had a couple of issues w/the subscribe, finally got it. Was well worth the trouble, just like reading early SR & HR mag articles. Always worth reading Pats' writings. Even if I'm not enthused about a particular subject matter he is covering, I still always learn something useful & interesting. :) .

Pat; you got a good mention this month in the MSRA monthly "Linechaser". Hope that generates some more interest for you, from a different demographic group.

Thanks for the writings, so far.

Wow oh wow I some how missed all this and am kicking my patutty pretty damned hard for that.
I am now most certainly on line with a subscription and can hardly wait for the next roll out Pat.
What an absolutely outstanding endeavor. IMO there exists nothing even approaching the significance and real true "Rodding" meaning and story on this earth. Thanks so much Pat.

He is 'Hall of Fame' material for sure. Keeper of the flame. Historian. Not just autos. Imagine what Hot Rod magazine would be today if the snakes in suits were not involved. Pat, B'ville, Jeff Smith (add some of your own) left alone & have creative control over content.
  23. Anyone not following this blog of Pat's is sure missing some great stories.

Indeed, great stories that Pat tells really well.

I have read and followed Pat from the first time I saw one of his articles way back when. I signed up a while back and look forward to seeing the great pictures and witty stories. He is a true hot rodder, I bet he doesn't even own a gold chain:D

I read most of the car and bike mages from the early 1970s through the late 80s. This is a great blog with those archival photos. Thank's Pat, I met you once at Santa Maria where you signed that poster with the other greats.
