Don't tell him.. But I'm going to let my youngest son (he's 17) make a pass or two in my '57 Saturday. He comes from great lines of hot rod blood and I think it's past time. Looking forward to some great memories fellas!

I'm hoping I can ride shotgun... At least the first time. The car runs mid to low 12's. Although it's a good car and goes straight, I will still be nervous about it.

My son is 19. This summer he drove my 59 DeSoto. To see his face was priceless. Passing along the virus.

Did this last year with my youngest son (he was 16 at the time). This year he did the first time run, the second time run he was talking to a cute girl and was too busy to make the run. I had to step in. Then he had the audacity to ask if he could make the money run...

Way to go, Dad! Raise 'em right! After years of karting and helping out at our club's annual show'n'shine I put my 12 year old on a roundy-round track a couple weeks ago. Like you said, building great memories.
