This weekend, instead of hanging at the Hot Rod Hoedown with my greaser buddies, I decided to rub elbows with the Philadelphia Main Line blue bloods at the Radnor Hunt Club Concourse d' Elegance, featuring some cool Art Deco cars. Here's a few pics for your viewing pleasure.

I love seeing coverage of those kinds of shows. Back then, it seems like the wealthy car guy REALLY knew how to express himself. Now all they want to do is make a reality TV show or get chased by TMZ.

Thanks for the pics, I love the Concourse shows. Next sunday is the Dayton Ohio show, at Carillon Historical Park.

DKW F7, c. 1937. Always good to see something modest but interesting by way of contrast. Front-wheel-drive, transverse 2-stroke twin of around 700cc:

It rather suggests a cross between a Horch and a Golf GTi.

I had it pegged for a BMW at first, but there was something suggestive about the lack of running boards.

    Dawie,
I'm impressed by your ability to i.d. this car. When I saw it I didn't have a clue what it was at first but I really liked it's style, proportions, and size.

I spent 3 hours there. Great show. A must see if you live anywhere close.
