    I'm new to this world so is guide a brand type or what? We're they made a long time? Certain years?

    Guide made headlights, it is the brand name. Started in 1906, with 3 founding partners. By 1947 employed almost 5000 employees.
    I’m not sure what year those are, probably 1940s, others here will know.
    GuideRay made headlights back in the ‘20s, - I don’t know if it is the same company, - I suspect so.
    Google/Wikipedia are your friends.........

    I really have no idea at all. They are really big and really heavy. There is two of them together they probably weight more than a British car lol.

    Thanks that's funny because I just found that same picture this morning. Thanks very much for the help. I didn't see one like it so I believe it's just going to be out dated

    Yes me to. This is a awesome group. It fathoms me of all the knowledge that y'all possess. Next time I get to go there I'll take pictures of that top and see if y'all can figure that out. I really do appreciate all the help y'all give me. Really makes me want to get into this area of hot rods more and more.
