My uncle is in need of some formed rubber 5/16" fuel line for his tripower setup in his 32.

It's a basic 90 degree with one leg 2" and one leg 3" or the legs could be longer and he'll cut them down.

My NAPA contact says Gates doesnt do anything approved for fuel.

Anyone have any ideas or part numbers for me?

    Here is a rough drawing...

Many moons ago I ran a parts store, but can't seem to remember pre-formed fuel "hose". Why not just bend tubing, flare and add rubber ends?

or bend tubing and push it into the rubber line. Lubricant jokes welcome.

He has 3 on the log right now, but they are hard now. He's had the same setup since 1970.

He will bend and flare if he can't find them.

nope I checked. He says he picked them up yeeeeeaaars ago at a swap meet or flea market.

I like the idea of slipping tubing into the hose. If all else fails he may do that.

S&S Carbs Preformed fuel line for Harleys has a 90* bend at one end. IIRC.

If you really want these and are willing to do some research, Mark IV Industries makes formed fuel hose. Weather or not the distribute it in the aftermarket is another story. It's worth a shot. Nana-Plumbley is another company you may want to check on.

  11. I watched Bass slip red fuel line over top of hard line to get it to contour on his bike.

I thought that was pretty cool.
