Always a good tech...I have two cars with f100 brakes and a third in the works. They work great.

  5. i'm also a big fan of F-1/F-100 brakes. but i have always thought that victor seal # 49195 in the article etboy posted is wrong. it is for a 1-1/2" and on `37-`48 ford spindles where the seal rides is 1-9/16"... i use national # 473441

Call Speedways tech department. They'll tell you what you need.

I have read articles on the f100 brakes and some say the brake drums do not meet up to the backing plates enough to keep water out. is there a gap?
