what are the part numbers for the bearing and seals that speedway motors sales as a 53-56 f100 brake conversion kit? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Ford-F-100-Brake-to-1937-48-Spindle-Bearing-Conversion-Kit,5387
i'm also a big fan of F-1/F-100 brakes. but i have always thought that victor seal # 49195 in the article etboy posted is wrong. it is for a 1-1/2" and on `37-`48 ford spindles where the seal rides is 1-9/16"... i use national # 473441
I have read articles on the f100 brakes and some say the brake drums do not meet up to the backing plates enough to keep water out. is there a gap?
