Parkless Hydro?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Billy the kid, Jan 15, 2007.

  1. I have all the stuff to put the e-brake in the car and it all did work in the donor car. I also have a good size brick. :) I'm just wondering if anyone has an alternitive or do you just stay with the e-brake?

the parking pawl only engages after the engine is shut off,in reverse.

think of it as an anti-theft feature :D

  4. It is a possibility that it may be broken. If the car is parked on an incline and shut off and then allowed to roll before the pawl engages,it will sometimes snap the end off.

Use a Mico lock on the rear wheels.

  6. In racing units they left the parking paul out entirely. It doesn't have to be in there for the tranny to work.
