I am needing to know if I can install parallel springs on the stock axle that had the "suicide" spring, I'm wanting to get the nose up a bit on my 41 Ford business coupe I'm working without much of a budget.

You would probably be better off to find a early pickup axle that was already set up for parallel springs as it would have the pads on it already. I guess a guy could weld pads to his Ford axle, but with a pickup axle you would get later brakes, etc.

You could keep your transverse spring and go with a straight axle instead of a dropped axle.

Wouldn't it be easier to just install a new higher arch spring ??
