Man she looks reallllly low. I like the color a lot and the off white interior, very nice.

Have you thought about some wheel caps and big whitewalls?

I have a 48 and cut 3" off the bottoms of the fenders and removed the running boards. The trimmed fenders are 3" off the ground. It has f2 fenders and big whitewalls. Has a radius'd wheel well look. I will post a thread when I get a seat in it and out of the shop.

Lookin good, whats under the hood??

Looks great. I like the color contrast between the grille and the rest of the truck, stance is killer.

Looks great! I don't mind the silver tooth, just think it would look better in the center of the grill.

  16. I've always been the type of guy that likes the look for primer,,,for over 40 years hence the name HOTRODPRIMER,,Knowing the truck is not finished in primer it does have that look!

Congratulations on making the trip with of minimum of problems. HRP

  18. DAMN.....your PU looks great!
I really like the color. I'd like to see it raised up in the rear a few inches, looks like your gas tank is only a few inches off the ground, I hope that won't be a problem?

  19. thats actually not my tank, its a storage compartment i built where i have my toolbox and battery. The rear 1/3 of my bed floor behind my axle open's up almost like a trunk so i can get to it. my gas tank is in it's stock location.

  20. It's different then the pic of my bed floor, but I welded nuts on the inside of my fenders and removed the factory studs from my bedsides. Then just got some round head Allen bolts and fender washers to bolt up the fender from the inside. They look great all installed but the main reason behind all that is so if I were to get a flat tire, I could just unbolt the fender from the inside of the bed in order to get the wheel out. Versus having to lay on the ground and dick with unbolting the fender from the wheel well (stock configuration)

  21. ..that's smart thinkin, but I'd still paint those bolts so they disappear...

as far as the fender bolts, I'm using elevator bolts, they are flat on the box side and can be removed/replaced on the inside of the fenderwell. Mine is almost the same xept its a Flattie w/T 5 trans and for now all shiney raw...

Trucks looks great. I like toucan's idea of flaking the roof. That trunk idea you have there is awesome, maybe you can give us a run through next tech week?
