Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Jimmy B, Sep 14, 2009.

  1. Got the roadster back together and pushed it outside. Still a long, long way to go.

Wow! It's a busy night on the interweb tonight. Great work Jim. Is all the aluminium staying raw?

  5. Yes, yes and yes.
    That looks killer.
Do you have a windscreen? What are your plans for a screen?

  6. Thanks!

Cheers! will do, next update will probably be of the interior.

Thanks Pete! The aluminium will stay raw for now but eventually it will be all black.
Thanks! I do have posts and frame i need to sand blast them and paint em black. I also need a torneau made when I can afford it.

    Awesome!!! Keep it going.

Are you going to be switching to the '35 Ford Wires as seen in the early pics?? Also where did you get those '36-'39 Caps that you have on the front right now?? I have never seen ones without any embossing on them.

    Very nice.

  27. Thanks Jeffrey. I won't be running wires I do have '46 drums if I find some Ford high clearance wheels. I have 17" Chev high clearance wheels for the back but they need to be converted to 18"
I thought the caps were some type of accessory caps but BobbedT is probably right in regards to being Ford Pilot.

    Thanks Bob!

Kiwi Hot Rods rock too!!! Good traditional Hot Rods here are few and far between, we need more shows like Chopped that Ryan Ford organises.

Funny, I do want to take this to the US one day to drive to El Mirage and Bonneville.
