I was checkin out my old truck where its bein stored today, and happened to notice a Packard sittin nearby. Turns out my friends dad owns the thing, and would like to someday restore it (ever hear that story before?). It looks like it would be a pretty cool custom, but I dont think I've ever seen one. I have seen the grille transplanted in a few different cars, but never seen the whole thing. It has the tall slender grille, with horizontal bars. Car is in pretty good original condition, whats it worth? Anyone have any pics of this sort of car as a custom?? Thanks
howz bouts d' agostino's 41 ..the gable ......fucking amazing .even better in person......my pic is too big to post........
Some of you Packard guys might be interested in this ragtop. It was purchased by a car dealer in Detroit from the Chief Designer at Packard shortly after it was built. It was a concept car that never made it into production in this form. The factory VIN tag just says number one and the production date. It was just restored late this summer and is really a neat piece of Packard history.
