Event Coverage P.I.D. Car Cruise - Pittsburgh International Dragway

  1. Below is some info I pulled from another site... looks like it could be a great night in western PA. Who is in???

    Quaker Steak & Lube Restaurant in Pleasant Hills is having a Pittsburgh International Dragway car cruise on

    Saturday evening June 9th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This will be the grand opening of the P.I.D. ROOM!!

    They now have a room dedicated to the memories from Pittsburgh International Dragway!

    Yes, they will have a DJ.......
    Yes, we will have the old P.I.D. Christmas Tree there!
    Yes, you can line your car up next to the Christmas Tree and get your picture taken.
    Yes, we will have a photographer there!!!!!!
    Yes, we will have some memorabilia and pictures there also

    I miss old PID, many fond memories of going there in the 60's. Have a nice time and post lots of pictures for us ex-patriots. :D

    Wish I was around..... Gonna have to miss this one... I got a dragster that use to race there. I'm looking for info on it. A picture can be viewed in my pictures..

    I used to go there in the 60s and 70s.
    Great fun. Anyone remember seeing Harry Luzader
    run his deuce there?
