Not sure what this is but it looks nice on my wall, for now. A pristine set would look better than one...and they would look even better on a car!

    Sorry for the awful photo(s).

I bought a set of those 59 Dodge caps and they won't fit on my older 15" Ford wheels. WTF.........

Cool thing about hubcaps is that they are easy to change and make for a new look each time.......

Maybe not real traditional, but still kewl! They are 14's so I put them on a trim ring and can run them on my '49 for a change over the '57 Cad's.

I love these on my '53 Chevy (1950 or so Imperial). The gold and red crowns are kind of tacky, but they are small and the rest of my car is so plain that they are kind of a nice touch.
And I think the original '49-50 Lincoln caps are great, too, although I don't know if they fit on most wheels or not.
I also love those '51-53 Olds covers. I have about 10 or so hanging on my wall, and the nicest two will go on the front of my '51 Chevy once it hits the road.

    My all time favorite ! ! !

  23. I'm going to try, try that is doing something with these 68 T bird caps. Maybe just add a bullet and paint the centers body color which will be vanilla with wide whites. Got them cheap to experiment with.

My High School Buddy, Rick Dearing, ran a cool '55 ford two door sedan. It was black/black with 14" rims mounting Olds trim rings, '59 chevy dog dish caps with Chevy tri bar knock offs with Ford emblems from the '55 Ford full wheel covers glued to the center. Really classy with noarrow white stripe tires. Wish I had a pic of them.

    Early fifties Packard sombrero.
I was looking for a good photo when this gorgeous beast appeared on the "Mild Customs" thread. If you find one in a junkyard, grab the side-spear while you're at it, too!
