The build is one of the nicer one's IMHO. However, the 19 yr. old slacker that got it... Stand up straight and get a haircut, boy!
For anyone who saw that they have the charger episode on tonight, check to see if Overhaulin' is playing again after that. When I hit the info button on our remote the little description says it had a 1987 mazda engine in it!
Yep, the Model A DID have a Mazda engine to begin with- and that was NOT the worst of it! Tune in and see!
Man, I dout even that beautiful Charger could get that skinny little rodent laid. Reminds me of that line in American Graffitti.. Is that you Toad in that beautiful car? What a waste if machinery
Finally! I had a hand in that build, too. Last time I saw the car it was still in bare metal... that car was taking a lot of work but it was definitely being done right. Gentlemen... Start your TiVos!
Which one where you? The one dancing or the one with the spinner on his charoot? Cool build, one that is a little closer to home than the other ''late model '' stuff they do!
I'm watching right now. For now on any HAMBers that are on TV or in the mags raise you hand so we know who you are.
Just caught the end of it. Sweet car. I dig the checker firewall. Why'd they go with a small block ford? I figured a flathead would look more in place.
I was extremely impressed with the Model A, even my kids said it was thier favorite that they have seen, GREAT WORK !
Jim, Tell me about the wheels. I only got a glimps but they looked like wide fives. How did they bolt them up to the 9" rear and Buick drums up front? The four link and coil overs seemed out of place to me.
ya know at speedway you can get Wide 5 adapters for Chevy/ford bolt pattern top Wide five. most Modifieds(race cars) run Wide 5s for strength.
