Overhaulin' tonight

according to TV directory the "new" one tonight is a Model A!

 

Look for me! I spent most of the build there, start to "finish"!

 

You are lucky. We're getting a 67 Charger here.

 

What time is it on (western and eastern because im not sure what I got)

 

The build is one of the nicer one's IMHO. However, the 19 yr. old slacker that got it... Stand up straight and get a haircut, boy!

 

OVERHAULIN '67 Charger at 8:00 pst, Model "A" 9:00 pst....BE THERE!

For anyone who saw that they have the charger episode on tonight, check to see if Overhaulin' is playing again after that. When I hit the info button on our remote the little description says it had a 1987 mazda engine in it!

 

Yep, the Model A DID have a Mazda engine to begin with- and that was NOT the worst of it! Tune in and see!

 

It said that the model A had a Mazda engine in it. that one is on at 9:00pst.

DAMN, I hope they turn that ratrod into a nice hotrod, and dont go too far by making it a streetrod.

 

Finally! I had a hand in that build, too. Last time I saw the car it was still in bare metal... that car was taking a lot of work but it was definitely being done right.

As a model a guy I cant wait to see the transformation from "rat" to "rod", hope they do it right

Just caught the end of it. Sweet car. I dig the checker firewall. Why'd they go with a small block ford? I figured a flathead would look more in place.

 

WOW...HELL YEAH, that fuckin "A" is kick ass!!

 

It was a 312. Quite appropriate

 

I was extremely impressed with the Model A, even my kids said it was thier favorite that they have seen, GREAT WORK !

Tell me about the wheels. I only got a glimps but they looked like wide fives. How did they bolt them up to the 9" rear and Buick drums up front?

The four link and coil overs seemed out of place to me.

 

Usually they make some unique Foose wheels for the cars they do -

 

ya know at speedway you can get Wide 5 adapters for Chevy/ford bolt pattern top Wide five. most Modifieds(race cars) run Wide 5s for strength.
