over Bore a HEMI 330

    How far over Bore can I punch a Desoto S24 block ?
    I was Told I could go .125 and be safe ?

    What final bore size do you want and why? The 341/345 Desoto Hemi were simply overbored 330's.

    Im going .030" on mine to simply clean her up. Thats it.

    I want stiff, round, rigid cylinders for max ring seal. Boring 'em more than is reqd is a waste and affects ring seal/performance.

    Oh and .030" leaves room for future rebores.

    Just my 2c..

    thanks for the info I have a 330 and though I would take my INJ S/B
    out and put the 330 in my Front Motor Dragster I have a 671 and a Hilborn 2 pot on another motor on the stand, I just though it would be cool at Crackle Fest and Car Shows there is really no encentive to race FMD anymore just play.
