Features Our Wagon on Hemmings web site

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by HOTRODPRIMER, Dec 12, 2015.

  1. My pal Don (rustyfords) sent me the link,it's just a ad for Coker tires but it's always cool to see your car posted on other websites along with several other cool cars. HRP

Regardless of the year, make or model, station wagons are hot, and they're a perfect candidate for a set of wide whitewall tires. This '54 Ford Ranch Wagon is sitting a couple inches lower than stock and features a set of aftermarket steel wheels to go along with its whitewall tires.

  8. I didn't have a clue but when Tommy Lee Byrd who takes photo's for Coker gets you to sign a release it gives them the rights to use the photo's in their advertising,I was surprised when the used my Deuce pickup on the cover of the 2011 catalog. HRP

  10. I saw that the other week or month, and thought, that looks like HRPs wagon.
Then you had a pic in a thread here somewhere of the wagon, and I was going to say something, but not being 100% sure, thought I'd say nothing, just in case I was wrong.

Good for you, it must feel great to see your cars pictured like that. You can count that as an early Xmas present.

H.R.P. your wagon is one of the sweetest ever, your restraint to keep it so classic cool is the best. That picture is perfect, love the sliding windows open like that, congrats on the exposure, Corky knows

Folks I've seen that wagon up close and personal, and I can assure you all that it is BETTER than that pic! We had a gathering and a great dinner at Frankie Four Finger's place in Moonville, SC after a day @ the Greer, SC drag strip in Spring of '14, and Danny and his lovely wife Brenda were there in that fantastic wagon. I spent a considerable amount of time talking with the 2 of them and Danny still gives me hell about my appetite for mud bugs (crawfish to those of you unfortunates who don't live in the South.)
It takes some real will power to keep a restoration by a hot rodder under control and exercise the restraint Danny and Brenda used in not trying to jazz it up to leave their personal marks on it. Way more restraint than I showed in my consumption of mud bugs!!!!!!!
