My guess is it was the Ford roadster that was the key to their getting together and the longevity. Would be awesome if he somehow still had it and of course if he had dropped a nailhead in it back in the 60's. But, that might be expecting a bit too much. http://www.sfgate.com/news/us/artic...ngest-married-in-US-4255223.php#photo-3792292
80 years, that is really cool. i have been for 28 years and thankful i found one that would put up with me for that long.
So,if the Good Lord allows Brenda and I to survive to see our 80 wedding anniversary we still have 40 more years to go,,heck we are half way there! HRP
If we live that long I think my wife and I will make that if she hasn't run by now (together 42 years ) she's not going anywhere.I ran into a couple about 15 years ago living upstate near my inlaws, they had a 34 Ford pick up sitting out front, after a couple of times stopping to see if it was for sale she said no they had bought it new and they would never sell it,as I said that was around 15 years ago if they are still alive they're right up there
30 Years this year for me and my lovely wife. 80 years is certainly something to celebrate. Thanks for posting, even if it is OT. Cheers.
My grandparents made it 75 years right before they both passed. 80 is an incredible accomplishment on so many levels!
