my little grandkids ages 3,4, and 5 just saw him doing the mouse song and cracked up. truly a timeless comedian. just don't find talent like him anymore. I was very lucky growing up, we had a local UHF station that played a lot of his stuff in reruns, so i got to see a lot of his shows.

RIP, Soupy...he made me laugh when I was a kid!

  4. As a Michigan kid,he was a staple in my misguided youth. Actually got to meet him back in the '70's,which was pretty cool. Thanks for the laughs and Rest In Peace, sir.

I hope this stays up, I know there are a LOT of people on here who remember him well. worlds a little bit darker when you lose someone like this.

Clyde Adler played both, not sure about the voice,it was probably him, but he was the arm. I've heard that the dog arms were in the Atlanta center for the puppetry arts. If they are no longer there, he has family who probably owns them.

I'll never forget the one where he holds the pie in front of the old person, then kicks the cane out causing her to fall into the pie. RIP Soapy.

Soupy was cool. He was on a Dean Martin roast on tape and I got to see it at a friends house, man, he brought the house down and had everyone rolling on the floor. Plus, he looks like he could be Mel Gibsons real father which probably should be investigated.

I was a kid in Detroit in the 50's and watched Soupy most every day. He was way ahead of his time and will be missed. We were really upset when he left Detroit. My parents even watched when they could. RIP
