Started out with a stock American Legend cruiser and came up with this.

Sick56, that is one of the coolest I've seen! Where do you get forks like that?
I've been wanting to build something similar, just haven't gotten around to it.
I'll have to post pics of my stuff, I've got a couple of Schwinn cruisers and a Dyno/GT 'Von Franco'. I also recently picked up a J.C. Higgens from a neighbor lady for free, found it in her garage attic.

    Fine, I'll bite.

Here's my silent motorcycle. Purple powder-coated frame, drag bars, and mechanical drum brakes. It's just too slow!

heres my wallmart bike my dad found in the trash and that sat in my backyard for five years. got board one day and fixed it, it didnt even need new tubes or tires. the only thing cool on it is vintage Western Flyer grips i found in a dump in the desert(oops not in pic). easiest beach cruiser to ride!

Except for the seat and sissy bar, this is all original,

I was working for a Recycling company, pulled in to dump the truck and about fell out of the truck when I saw this laying next to a pile of scrap metal!
It is ALL original, all I did was give it a good cleaning and a good home

  8. I cheated a little by starting off with a Electra. But I changed the seat, modified the fenders and added the ape hangers. I plan to modify the frame, rake it a little, add a springer forks, some custom paint and stripe it. Someday I'll fit it in.

got bored one day and did this.

it's tore down right now. for paint and a fuel tank. ended up changing out throw out clutch for a go kart style. the pictured one worked, but was a little to violent of a start. jerked hard off the line. and would almost stall. now it's nice and smooth.

  14. take one 20" bike, add aircraft tubing and throw some lowrider and minibike parts at it. Presto! great way to make the neighbors think you are even goofier than they thought.

A friend had a tandem bike that steered from the back seat rather than the front.
The front handle bars were fixed. The rear handle bars turned and had a sprocket with a chain/cable affair that ran up front and turned the front forks.
Don't remember the brand name but it was a trip to ride from either seat!

    Cool stuff!
Finally took some pics of mine.
The first one is an old J.C.Higgens that I pulled out of a neighbors attic, just added new tubes and tires. I put a battery in the tanks and the horn still works! It's my wife's beater and rides like a dream (no jokes please!). The green Schwinn Typhoon I bought from another neighbor for $20, polished the paint and had the chrome re-done, it's now my son's bike.
I can only post 2 pics at a time so more to come...

Here are the other two. The blue Schwinn Hollywood is one my wife bought at an estate sale recently. I polished the paint and chrome and added the whitewalls. It's the wife's favorite!
The copper one is a Gt/Dyno 'Von Franco' that I bought years ago at another estate sale and just cleaned it up.
Man, this one rides like a Cadillac! My favorite of them all.

Too bad they don't make these anymore.
I talked to Von Franco at the Round Up and he said that Schwinn bought GT/Dyno and put them out of business, didn't like the competition I guess.

Well it ain't a thing 'o beauty but it gets me around. My legs are going away, hence the hand cranks. For REAL emergencies I deploy the electric kids scooter hanging out the ass. Hoping this summer to make more of a "row" front end. The hand cranks are very clumsy
