00c0c_fRCixmC60IC_1200x900.jpg 00A0A_h0VqaKrhPcm_1200x900.jpg I need some advice from those that have been in my situation. The previous owner coated the inside of my '29 Studebaker's gas tank, with a high quality kit. Every inch of the inside has the white coating on it, there was never any rust holes, and it is in good shape. Would you try to install a modern sending unit and vent system, pickup tube, etc. or try to find a repro that may match the measurements? I don't see any baffles inside the original tank, and it has a threaded plug in the bottom.

I would use it as is, but not if I had to do any mods that would mess up the coating.

If your updating the stuff inside and connected to the outside of the tank, upgrade the tank as well.

If you decide to go with a new tank, let me know. I would like to buy your old tank for my 29 President.
