We are working on bringing this car back to life. (mild restoration)
It was built in the late 40's and spent it's life as a multi use racer.
It saw time on the circle tracks all across the west. It was a drag racer and finally it saw time on the salt.
I need to see some inspiration for a period correct wheel combo.

We are thinking firestone black wall but the wheels have us stumped and undecided.
    Anyone have suggestions?

p.s. The roll bar is gone. :)

First change from 5 lug to six lug. the front could be as easy as changing drums. If to hard find some 49 to 52 chevy wheels 15 inch some busisness coupes had 16s but they would be very hard to find.. This way ust add the small hubcaps and no one would know. As for tires on the 15s 670 front and 760 or 820 rear..If you go 16 inch 600 fr and 700 rear.. many cars of this period also ran the same size on all 4.
