Flop doing a chop updates with the morning coffee it doesn't get much better than that. A tip of the cap to 32Owner for wanting the 3 inch chop that looks perfect on that coupe rather than going with a hard chop. I'd say that is perfect.

2" on a 3W and 3" on a 5W correct the proportion mistake made by Ford to accommodate top hats. Great work as usual on the beautiful 5W chop.

I can't believe there isn't ten guys screaming because you cut up an original car.

I agree, I had a lot of negative comments about mine being chopped five inches, until I showed this photo.

Unbelievable workmanship, if you don't mind, how many hours, start to finish, including moldings? Again, incredible job, congrats!!!

I asked the same guestion once @alfin32. The answer I got was: “whatever it takes to make it right, because if it isn’t right it’s Wrong, and it doesn’t leave till it’s right in Flops eyes. Time becomes almost irrelevant. Most of the highly talented are finicky, your car becomes theirs until it finished. Am I on the right track here flop?

My car would not be in toms hands if I did not trust him. the car looks fabulous and I told him to do what he thinks should be done. when its done its done and he is satisfied with his work. never hurry an artist at work !!!!

These kind of threads leave me with mixed feelings, first I gotta say you (and some others) have unbelievable talent when it comes to metal work. I subscribed to these threads to see how it's done but in the end I feel cheated out of one of the most mysterious parts of pulling it off. I get the cutting part, I get the welding part, somewhere in between the welding and the metal finish work showing the no surgery look is missing. Is it top secret? Job security reasons?
