Look like another lowlife thief or thieves have made off with a nice Model A Coupe from Washington County, Oregon. Link to the news story http://www.komonews.com/news/local/Veterans-vintage-vehicle-stolen-from-driveway-270856371.html
Frickin' thieves have no respect for anyone, even an old man. Hope someone turns them in and he gets it back. Don
That sucks. I'm not 100% positive, but I think I've seen that car driving around town (before it was stolen, like a few months ago). If it was indeed this car, the driver's side rear wheel has quite the wobble to it (as if a Model A doesn't stand out of the crowd by itself). Hope he gets his car back.
I say we send this guy to track them down. he's so bad ass he can shoot 13 rounds from a rifle that only holds 8.
If that was driven away when stolen it has to be someone involved with the hobby, a stock Model A isn't something the general public would be able to just jump in and drive.
I forwarded news link to all the members in our Model A club. Just added 50 more sets of eyes. Sure hope it gets found.
This Crap Sucks and Muttley is right. Depending on the condition of the last tune-up, You have to be part Octopus to keep an out of tune A-model running. Last one I drove, I was a teenager (over 50 years ago)...... Jeff
I'd be keeping an ear out for word of some no money bugger all the sudden having a pretty nice Model A coupe body that he is building rod with that he has no solid expatiation as to where it came from. My guess is that the car was stolen by someone who was able to watch the gent's movements and had learned that he may have left it parked out in the driveway fairly often.
I live in Forest Grove in Washington county. I will forward to a few local fellows that will keep their eyes out too. thanks for the heads up.
