OREGON BILLY, hamb member passed away 7-29-2011 in Eugene, Oregon. Bill Darland will be missed by all who knew him. he attended most of the local car shows in his dark green 37' willys.
Bill was a close friend of mine for the last 20+ years. We just spoke about a week before he passed trying to sort out a clutch problem on his little BMW Isetta microcar we both shared a passion for. I sent him some parts to fix it though he couldn't have had time to install them. A big man with an even bigger heart, I'll remember his visits with me, our phone conversations and all the fun times we had over the years....RIP.
