I'm 69 years old next week and from a very early age I fell in love with the 33-34 Ford coupe body style. For a long time I didn't know why because you didn't see many around my home town in Asheville N.C.. When the internet became available I started looking at a website that dealt with early modified racing around the Nashville area. The car I had in my head was a 34 Ford 3w, maroon with gold numbers. All of a sudden there it was, a picture of Bob Reuther's car at Nashville fairgrounds around 1950. The reason I was looking around the Nashville area was that just about that same time my Dad was going to school in Nashville and racing modified /sportsman so it was very likely that this was the car I remembered. On further research I found that the car was sold to Marty Robbins and appears on the cover of the "Devil Woman" album.[was dark maroon in 50] That's what got me into this mess. Better get in the basement and work on my frame.
