There is an orange that supposedly was a Chrysler color called Hemi Orange. Used to be a 73 or 74 Cuda running around here that color, it had a shine and depth to it I haven’t seen since. Don’t know if it was factory paint or not, I was only about 15 years old, but it stuck in my mind as the perfect orange. Have seen a few since then, but none had that depth look to them. No pics, didn’t even own a camera back then.

How come no pictures of Ed Roth's 55 Chevy, Ford color called competition orange. I remember when I was a kid living out in CA, some guy told me that all 55 Chevys in CA were painted orange, you know what, I believe him.

Let me add this one to the mix. Dennis Kyle's former Tom Senter 32. A Steve Archer hand built fiberglass body on deuce rails. Before anybody screams FIBERGLASS, this belong to Senter when he wrote for Rod & Custom. At one time housed Senter's Ardun that some have described as the most beautiful flathead ever.
Kyle finished the car in his home garage and has been driving the wheels off of it for decades dk2.jpg dk1.jpg
