Found this amongst my friends grandpa's lil yard. Not much here but there are some things i may be interested in. I figure it's a Ford but what was it used for. I've never really ever seen one.

'55 Ford Sedan Delivery used by plumbers, grocery stores, bakery's, or any other shop that might need it to make delivery's.
My friend's uncle had a '51 Chevy sedan delivery that he used in his plumbing business.

Could be a flower car, that would explain the nice window in the side, and the black paint, and that it's short (normal)

a "driver" or "operator" would sit in it, start it up, and drive it around and such. sometimes, a "passenger" would sit in the other seat or seats, or "tools" and "merchandise" might have been delivered by the "driver".

sorry... you walked right into that one.

The side window is probably after market. Owners added the rear windows to change the vehicle classification from commercialto private use. This changed the tax rate and allowed the vehicle to opperate on highways that were restricted against commercial vehicles. Sedan deliveries make great customs. FIX IT.
